The images are made from stills from David Cronenberg’s 1998 film Dead Ringers and the 1956 Science Fiction film Forbidden Planet.

The photographs are cut into vertical strips, each strip is re-located in reverse, so the image is somehow inverted, the fist strip from the left of the image becoming the last on the right and so forth, eventually forming a strange reflection and re-animating the still image.

The prints are made from the original collages.
Printed on Bartya satin finish Canson paper with archival pigments.
44.5cm x 31cm with 3cm border.
