Best One Hundred 1990
1991Show in a large deserted warehouse in London’s Canary Wharf,
the work is a list of the ‘best one hundred places’ in the world as listed in Condé Nast’s Traveller magazinefor 1990 which included hotels, spa’s, airlines and resorts.
The text reads as a utopian destination board in a station or airport, the empty expanse of the warehouse lending itself to this assocaition, its stark emptiness contrasting with the promise of luxury, abundance, and supposed perfection held within the list.
